An Academic Incentive Program is implemented at Istanbul Medipol University to encourage faculty members and researchers to publish their scientific studies at national and international levels. The Academic Incentive Directive, approved by the University Senate on March 6, 2018, covers scientific publications published as of the beginning of 2019.
The control and approval of books and articles eligible for incentives are the responsibility of the Department of Library and Documentation. Articles, reviews, and books/book chapters indexed in Scopus or Web of Science (WoS) are verified through the Academic Performance System (https://performans.medipol.edu.tr/giris-yap).
