Database Usage Training for Researchers
Our library organizes database usage training sessions for individual users or small groups to support academic research. These trainings aim to facilitate effective access to reliable information sources and to enhance research skills.
Purpose of the Training
- To become familiar with the electronic databases provided by the library
- To learn academic literature search methods
- To effectively access articles, books, and other academic resources
- To gain advanced research skills such as filtering and result management
Training Content
- Access to the library’s electronic resources
- Introduction to databases by subject areas
- Basic search techniques
- Searching journals, articles, books, and theses
- Saving, exporting, and managing references
- Practical applications and examples
- Use of plagiarism tools (Turnitin, iThenticate)
- Creating researcher profiles (ORCID, Web of Science, Scopus, Google Scholar)

Training Format
Training sessions are conducted individually or in small groups (2–5 participants). Participants may request content tailored to their specific needs.
Registration & Application
A training schedule is available. You can select a suitable date and time and complete the registration form. The training page will include a Google Calendar link and a registration form. Please ensure that the form is filled out completely.
