Newly enrolled students are required to visit the Library and request account activation from the reference librarian before they can use the Library&#8217;s services.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>Borrowing<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can check the call number and the library location of the book you want through <strong>katalog.medipol.edu.tr<\/strong> or by using the library catalog search computers.<\/li>\n<li>Books can be borrowed through library staff by presenting your <strong>Turkish National ID Card, Medipol Student ID Card, or Driver&#8217;s License<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Academic Staff:<\/strong> May borrow up to <strong>15 books<\/strong> for <strong>45 days<\/strong>, with the option to renew for an additional <strong>15 days<\/strong> or <strong>90 days (semester-long renewal)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Administrative Staff:<\/strong> May borrow up to <strong>15 books<\/strong> for <strong>45 days<\/strong>, with the option to renew for an additional <strong>15 days<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Students (Undergraduate, Master&#8217;s, and PhD):<\/strong> May borrow up to <strong>5 books<\/strong> for <strong>30 days<\/strong>, with the option to renew for an additional <strong>7 days<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reference materials<\/strong> may be borrowed by all users for <strong>3 hours only<\/strong> (e.g., encyclopedias, atlases, journals, handbooks, theses, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The borrower is responsible for all borrowed materials until they are returned.<\/p>\n<p>Users are responsible for taking proper care of borrowed materials and returning them by the specified due date.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Users who have overdue materials cannot borrow additional items until the overdue materials have been returned.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>All users are subject to a daily overdue fine for materials returned after the due date.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_video link=&#8221;https:\/\/youtu.be\/vKcABPag28s&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>Electronic Library<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Visit <strong>ekutuphane.medipol.edu.tr<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>To access the system from off-campus, use your <strong>Medipol email address as your username<\/strong> and your <strong>Mebis password<\/strong> as your password.<\/li>\n<li>You can find your Medipol email address in the <strong>\u201cUser Profile\u201d<\/strong> section within Mebis.<\/li>\n<li>If your email address and password are correct but you are still unable to log in, you can request support by sending a screenshot of the error message you receive to <strong><a href=\"mailto:kutuphane@medipol.edu.tr\">kutuphane@medipol.edu.tr<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>For more information about databases, please visit the <strong>\u201cSubscribed Databases\u201d<\/strong> section under the <strong>\u201cE-Resources\u201d<\/strong> tab on the Library website.
